Chelsea Supporters Club was formed in 1948, originally as a travel club it operated from an office in Stamford Bridge, and eventually it took on it’s own independent shop – the iconic 547 Fulham Road.
You can ask any of our older supporters about 547 and they will have their own memories. Many a programme collection was started there with lots of souvenirs as you went up the rickety staircase to book coach travel with Arthur Owen or train travel with Doug Graham or Ron Hockings.
Today the Chelsea Supporters Club exists to connect Supporters with each other and the club. We are a permanent member of the fans forum which meets three to four times a season. The Met Police IAG (Independent Advisory Group) also meets every couple of months to discuss police issues. The agenda is set by the police and the supporters and we are a permanent member.
The CSC belongs to the FSA (Football Supporters Association) and FSE (Football Supporters Europe) who work on behalf of all supporters. We also contribute to the FSA’s Premier League Network discussing issues relating to all PL clubs. You can also find us on Facebook and Twitter.
Chelsea Supporters Club is and always has been independent from the Football Club.
